DOD Badder Monkey, Overdrive Pedal Nieuw voor 2026

The monkey is out of the barrel.

Demand for a reissue of the Bad Monkey pedal was so high that DIGITECH decided to improve on the original design rather than simply reissuing it. The Badder Monkey™ still features the original Bad Monkey overdrive circuit, gain, and EQ frequencies, but the pedal has also been equipped with two new circuits: "Behaved" and "Badder." With our new, patent-pending 360° "Barrel" control, two of the three overdrive paths can be mixed to create a variety of unique overdrive combinations.

The toggle switch switches the "Bad" circuit between phase-shifted and parallel. In the middle position of the switch, "Troop" mode is activated and all three circuits are used simultaneously. In "Troop" mode, the barrel control is deactivated. The new "Badder Monkey™" is equipped with the patent-pending, double-sided StagePlate™, which eliminates the need to attach Velcro tape to the pedal.
