onsidered hidden treasures from the early 1960s, Fender® "brown panel" amplifiers bridged the gap between the raw tone of '50s-era tweed amps and the sparkling clean tone of mid-'60s "black panel" amps.

The first of the Fender® brown panel models, the '62 Super™ has an incredibly warm and woody sound when played clean blooming into sweet overdrive when cranked. Along with its special phase-shifting harmonic tremolo, this amp dishes out phenomenal tone at any volume. With dual 6L6 power tubes pushing 40 watts through two 10" Celestion® Custom Design speakers, the '62 Super™ is ideal for recording and gigging.

The '62 Super™ is the perfect addition to the American Vintage™ line — bound to be the next amp purchase for tone seekers, Fender® aficionados and collectors everywhere.

TUBE CIRCUITRY

There's nothing quite like the pure, powerful sound of a Fender® tube amplifier. The '62 Super™ features two 6L6 power tubes and six 12AX7 preamp tubes. For decades, the tonal richness and touch-sensitive dynamics of real tubes have given Fender® amps a defining and unmistakable voice, as heard on most professional recordings and performances of the past 60 years.

HARMONIC TREMOLO

First introduced in 1961, Harmonic Tremolo quickly became a hallmark of vintage Fender tone. Harmonic Tremolo is a unique modulation effect that varies the phase and volume of the signal, creating a rich, swirling sound. Unlike traditional tremolo, it modulates both the amplitude and harmonic content, offering a more complex and musical tremolo effect.

CLASSIC FENDER "BROWN PANEL" TONE

The warm, woody cleans, rich overdrive and organic tremolo of Fender's famous brown amps are prized by guitarists who know and appreciate classic Fender tones.

SOLID PINE CABINET

Solid pine was a traditional Fender® amp construction hallmark of the 1950s and '60s, making for more resonant and more "musical" speaker cabinets.

ASSEMBLED IN THE U.S.A.

Just like all great Fender® guitar amps since the 50s, the ’62 Super Amp is assembled in California, USA.
