Hagstrom Ultra Max, Finish Milky Mandarin Satin Elektrische Gitaar AANBIEDING ZOLANG DE VOORRAAD STREKT

De Ultra Max is gebaseerd op hetzelfde compacte bodyconcept als de Ultra Swede, hoewel de mahoniehouten body iets groter is en voorzien is van een sterk bovenblad van bewerkt, gevlamd esdoorn. In deze body is een mahoniehouten hals met een penverbinding gelijmd. De mensuur is 25,50 inch, de H-Expander™-spanstang is ook aanwezig en de toets is gemaakt van Resinator™. De slanke en “ultracomfortabele, snelle” hals wordt alleen nog overtroffen door onze Custom 60 Alnico-5-pickups met geborstelde aluminium kappen, die het assertieve geluid produceren dat je van dit instrument verwacht.

De Custom 60-pickups van de Ultra Max bevatten een nylon gecoate draad met speciale wikkeling en een Alnico 5-magneet – dit principe wordt ook gebruikt bij de Custom 58. Een Custom 60 is echter nog doortastender en scherper dan een Custom 58, die bekend staat om zijn vintage geluid. Voor elke pickup is er een aparte volumeregelaar met R/C-schakeling beschikbaar, zodat ook cleane geluidsvarianten probleemloos kunnen worden ingesteld. De master-toonregelaar bevat een push/pull-schakeling voor het snel selecteren van vette humbucker- en poriëndiepe cleane singlecoil-geluiden.

Comfortabel speelcomfort

De Ultra Max biedt niet alleen de kracht, de lange sustain en de bliksemsnelle respons van de Ultra Swede, maar ook een fris klankvocabulaire met meer flexibiliteit en – dankzij de compacte body – een comfortabel speelcomfort. Met zijn langere 25,50“-mensuur is de Ultra Max ook geschikt voor ”drop"-stemmingen. Gitaristen die op zoek zijn naar een platte body en een bruisend geluid komen hier zeker aan hun trekken.

De Ultra Max is verkrijgbaar in 4 elegante satijnen afwerkingen: Satin Black, Fall Sky, Milky Mandarin en Satin Cosmic Black Burst. Gezien de bovengenoemde kenmerken is het bijna niet te geloven dat deze gitaren zo betaalbaar zijn. Toch zijn het volwaardige Hagstrom-instrumenten, waarop men urenlang met volle inzet kan spelen. H-Expander

All Hagstrom electric guitars and basses include our patented H-Expander™ truss rod. Providing tension at both ends and running the entire length of the neck, the rigid yet light-weight alloy truss rod allows for a very low action and thin neck, two factors that were instrumental in earning Hagstrom its reputation as the world’s fastest playing guitar. The H-Expander™ truss rod not only provides ultimate neck stability, but it also contributes to Hagstrom’s unique tone. Longer sustain and a round attack are some of the sonic characteristics the H-Expander™ adds to the tonal essence of Hagstrom.

Machine Heads

Hagstrom models use 18:1 or 15:1 gear ratio machine heads based on our own designs to insure accurate tuning. Viking® and HB series basses feature machine heads with a 17:1 gear ratio.

Resinator Wood

Resinator™ wood is a wood composite material that is both more uniform in density and more stable than any standard wood product. These characteristics eliminate dead spots or “wolf tones” sometimes associated with conventional wood fingerboards. Resinator™ wood has an articulate sound similar to high quality ebony, but without any of the problems associated with ebony. It provides a stable and clear tone, and also adds higher overtones and harmonics which uniquely detail each note. Like our H-Expander™ truss rod, Resinator™ wood is a major contributor to the distinctive “Hagstrom tone”.

Sustain Block Tailpiece

Hagstrom’s unique Sustain Block Tailpiece™ was the result of design work starting in 1976 and made its first appearance on Swede and Super Swede guitars produced in 1978. Since then it has been a signature feature on many of our solid body models. Each string terminates in a single, massive brass block coupled directly to the guitar’s body. The blocks are detached from one another to reduce interference between the strings, maximizing each string’s unique contribution.
