The Kickback KB12 features a 500-watt, high-efficiency Class D amplifier and a 12" HyDrive Series speaker with a neodymium magnet. Hartke's HyDrive hybrid cone speaker combines an outer paper cone for deep, warm lows with an inner aluminum cone for cutting yet sweet mids. The cabinet can be positioned upright or in a "kickback" tilt for enhanced high-end clarity and stage directionality, offering powerful performance in a lightweight design.

The HyDrive Design

The KB12's 12" HyDrive speaker features meticulously crafted paper/aluminum hybrid cone drivers. Designed to produce a responsive bass tone that's both tight and warm, the KB12 provides users with comprehensive tone control. The Shape control and full 3-band EQ allow for quick tonal adjustments. When activated, the Shape knob selects the frequency range of a unique, fixed EQ curve, resulting in a greater variety of color and harmonics.

Kickback Versatility

In addition to the upright position, the KB12 can be placed in a "kickback" position for superior directivity and increased high-end clarity on stage.
