Distinctive and affordable, Jackson's X Series Soloist™ models are built for speed and comfort!

The X Series Soloist SLX DX HT is a venerable double-cutaway workhorse that offers many fine features desired by today's shredders.

The SLX DX HT features an ergonomically curved poplar body, through-body maple neck with scarf joint and graphite reinforcement for rock-solid stability. Hosting 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays, its 12"-16" compound radius bound laurel fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out.

Jackson® high-output humbucking pickups power this metal beast with an expansive voice loaded with crunchy, full-bodied tone ideal for brazen lead work or punchy rhythms runs. Tone is fully customizable with three-way pickup blade switching and single volume and tone controls, while a Jackson® hardtail bridge system provides superior string stability and dynamic tremolo action.

Sleek and sophisticated, the X Series Soloist SLX DX HT is decked out in multiple finishes with pointy black headstocks.

12"-16" COMPOUND RADIUS LAUREL FINGERBOARD

Jackson pioneered the use of the innovative 12"-16" compound radius design, in which the laurel fingerboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut. This makes for comfortable and natural-feeling chording and riffing near the nut, with optimal shred articulation and bending nearer the heel.

MAPLE NECK-THROUGH-BODY WITH GRAPHITE REINFORCEMENT AND SCARF JOINT

Extending the piece of wood used for the neck through the entire length of the guitar’s body allows for greater playability and sustain across the whole instrument. Graphite-reinforcement rods flanking the truss rod provide even more neck stability to help the instrument withstand the rigors of the road, while scarf joint for an angled back headstock increases the tension behind the nut that eliminates the need for string trees and/or string retainer bars.
